Gigabyte Technology (designated GIGABYTE or sometimes GIGA-BYTE; officially GIGA-BYTE Technology Co., Ltd.) is a Taiwanese manufacturer and distributor of computer hardware. Gigabyte's core business is motherboards. In the first quarter of 2015, it shipped 4.8 million motherboards, enabling it to become the leading motherboard supplier. Its products include desktops, laptops, mobile phones, monitors, motherboards, graphics cards. The company is also an original equipment manufacturer. Asus is the world’s 5th largest computer supplier by sales since January 2021, and ranked first in the IT hardware category in Taiwan’s 2008 Top 10 Global Brands survey with a total brand value of $ 1.3 billion.
